Windsocks

Choice of either 400 denier nylon oxford or vinyl coated polyester, both in International Orange.  400 denier nylon oxford windsocks are sewn with double needle construction using UV resistant thread.  Vinyl coated windsocks have welded longitudinal seams for durability.  Both styles are finished with #2 spur grommets at throat for maximum attachment strength.  Throat and tail are double stitched to ensure long life of the windsock.  All sizes are designed to fully extent with 15 MPH winds.  Full range of sizes available for all frames.  See price list for details.  Custom styles available on special order basis.

Specially designed frame assures freedom of movement for accurate wind direction.  All frames are finished to withstand weather and require minimum maintenance with their non-corrosive bearings.  Welded construction for easy attachment to owner supplied standard pipe thread section.

Now a safe way to signal to all VFR pilots that a runway / helipad / taxiway is closed.  Constructed of durable highly visible yellow vinyl-coated nylon.  Measurements for the runway cross is 60’ x 60’ overall, with 10’ width on each leg.  The helipad / taxiway closure cross measures 30’ x 30’ with a 5’ width on each leg.  Grommets around perimeter for easy stake down or attachment of sand bags.  Reinforced throughout to ensure a long life.  Two required per runway, one required per helipad / taxiway.
